They fought. And they won.
New York will always stand with our brothers and sisters in labor.
After 47 long days on the picket line, we are thrilled to announce a contract for our members at the Fairfield Inn and Four Points Times Square!
Workers who started this fight nearly 4 years ago will receive more than $50,000 in back pay each, immediate wage increases of between $10-15 per hour, free family health care, retirement benefits and more. We are so grateful for the thousands of members, elected officials, and supporters who stood with us through 100 degree weather, rain storms, and wildfire smoke to make this victory possible!

Workers shouldn't have their retirement gambled away on crypto schemes. The CLARITY Act weakens protections that workers and retirees rely on while opening the door to more speculation with retirement savings. We should be strengthening pensions—not putting them at greater risk.

No worker should have to strike just to get management to follow the law. But after years of bad-faith bargaining and union jobs handed to subcontractors, hotel workers at the Fairfield Inn and Four Points in Times Square voted unanimously to do exactly that. Their fight is for what every worker deserves: fair wages, real benefits, and a contract honored in good faith.
Proud to stand with @NYHTC. Proud to stand with Labor.

Union labor built New York. As the daughter of a union family, I’m honored to earn @NYSAFLCIO's support.
Together, we raised the minimum wage and created thousands of good-paying union jobs. I'm committed to building on our fight for New York workers.

This is the labor campaign.
I couldn't be prouder to stand on the side of working people, including @RWDSU, which celebrates 87 years of fighting for working people next week.
As @NYSAFLCIO President Mario Cilento reminds us, we're all in this together. NY is #UnionStrong. And I'm running for Congresss to take on the corrupt and powerful, champion labor, and deliver for working families in NY.
