Ofcourse..! I love to talk abt my characters, I just get annoyed at some of the responses it gets when posts get too popular... Dominance is central to Max's identity & motivations, & to him, power, masculinity, violence, & sex are all interlinked. He acts in a lot of ugly ways,

People online have a lowbrow rigid framework for what you can explore in a character with a morally complex role before all nuance is ignored completely & the Black & White Evil Goggles come on which is extremely frustrating when talking abt Max particularly

I always want to talk about the intricacies of Max as a character & his narrative position as a plainly bad person with particularly unsavoury attributes who is *not* a villain but I fear having to deal with people who know nothing about art or the world in my replies
