real talk, testaments current state does make me sad. crow being minus feels so uncomfortable and awkward to use, their combos feel like you're fighting against your own moves to make it work, and their pressure is basically just neutral but you're in the corner

People are throwing out lots of reasons for manga's dominance, most of them are probably true to some degree. The biggest one for me is that you don't have to read Naruto to start Demon Slayer. One Piece and Akane-banashi aren't the same universe. Etc.

absolute is building to a crossover, and as much as *I'm* excited for that, I can see that being where casual interest drops off and people don't pick up the runs anymore. people like simplicity, and absolute did that well while delivering incredible stories
