Sweep the Leg Johnny's Sto Cazzo! is another one worth exploring for those under 40. Math rock with Saxophone? I don't know, I guess? Raw and powerful recording that holds up in a big way. Songs hit me just as hard 26 years later.

Anyone under 40 that doesn't know - spend 30 minutes today, go listen to Keelhaul - II. Legendary hardcore and noise rock lineage, and was everyone's favourite bands from the early 00's favourite band.

I miss those guys a lot. We were lucky enough to hang out a bunch and toured with them on the last actual run they did, back in 2013. I met them when I flew down to Chicago to see them with Unsane back in Jan 2003, I had just become legal for bar shows. Unsane was an old fave for

me, and I was a fan of Keelhaul already, but they absolutely murdered Unsane that night. We stayed with Will for several days later that year on our first US tour.

We're already almost half way through the year and I forgot to post about the annual "keeping track of singles" playlist. Go follow if you have in the past. Yes, this is a matter of convenience. I listen to CDs and LPs at home. Physical media > streaming. linktr.ee/kenmodeofficial

We're launching a new Euro store with @swampmerchOFFCL and doing a massive sale on all clothing in both NA and EU ken-mode.com/ swampmerch.eu/collections/ke… We're talking $4.99-$9.99 a shirt. Hit it. I don't want this stuff anymore.

15 years ago today we released our 'Venerable' album via @profoundlore with vinyl by Init. We quit our jobs and dedicated the next 5 years to touring full time in an attempt to reach as many ears as we could. If you got into us on this record cycle, speak up in the comments!

Proof of life from the Mario Brothers. Last @Bandcamp friday of the year. If you're a digital media person, no time like right now to dig into our back catalog. Life is a chaotic mess, but we're slowly scratching away at the sculpture that is a new record.

Our 6th album, SUCCESS, came out ten years ago today. @pitchfork panned the shit out of it, (& never covered anything we did ever again) most of our media friends stopped talking to us, & we weren’t offered any support tours again for almost 9 years after that. Happy birthday! 🥳

Did you ever put on a show for us? Do you happen to have a hi-res version of the flier? Get in touch! I've been postering our jam space and need more gig posters to finish the job.

The internet used to be the wild west. Remember when myspace killed friendster, and Facebook killed myspace? Why the fuck hasn't anyone killed this shit yet.

Hope everyone has a good 2025. We’re going to be pretty quiet this year, as we’ve been putting a lot of energy into touring for the last 3 years. As a band that still works day jobs, it’s been a lot to balance, so we’re taking some time for life & to get back into a writing space
