THIS is your closing argument? Bashing patients who need hospital interpreters?
About 43 MILLION people speak Spanish at home. Speaking Spanish doesn’t make someone less American. KKKomments like Vance’s does.
“Just speak English” does absolutely fucking nothing for someone having a medical emergency.
Republicans want Latino votes while serving up contempt for Spanish-speaking families.
How about you learn some compassion, @JDVance? Your racist culture war can wait. A patient’s emergency can’t.

No one wants how it happened to come out, which tells you just how horrible this move was. Still, the absence of accountability means it can happen again.
🚨 Pentagon refuses to investigate Starlink disruptions in Ukraine. Senators demand answers about Musk's role
Nine US senators — four Republicans and five Democrats — called for an investigation into who was behind restrictions on Starlink and Starshield satellite communications, which Ukrainian officials say hampered efforts to intercept Russian drones.
However, the Pentagon's inspector general declined to launch an investigation and referred the senators to the US Air Force, according to the Associated Press.
The senators wanted to know whether US officials had authorized the restrictions, whether they knew about them in advance, and how the disruptions affected Ukraine's air defenses and warnings of incoming threats.
Senator Jeanne Shaheen said the Trump administration and SpaceX had provided conflicting explanations for the disruptions, making an independent investigation necessary.

My uncle spent 40 years as a high school teacher. Saved $250k in a modest nest egg.
At 78, he developed dementia and needed memory care.
The facility cost $8,500 a month.
When his savings ran out after two and a half years, the social worker handed my cousin a stack of paperwork.
She explained the rule: "Medicaid won't cover a single day until he has less than $2,000 in total liquid assets."
He had to sell his car, cash out his remaining life insurance, and empty his checking account just to qualify for basic care.
Forty years of discipline, erased down to two thousand dollars so he could die in a shared room.

It’s up to Alaska voters to decide how they feel about it.

More prominent people saying this so plainly can only help. But action is still required to stop this catastrophic and treasonous turn.
"It cannot be stated often enough or vociferously enough: the Trump Administration is helping Russia to conquer Ukraine. The United States of America has taken the side of an aggressor against its innocent victim."
