Nothing potrays mankind and its angels better than NASA's DART mission strike against the asteroid Dimorphos, the moonlet of Didymos.
Replying to @VinnyChirayil
3) The DART spacecraft ejected a massive barrage of boulders, some of which carried more than 3 times the energy of the spacecraft itself, surprising the DART team.

The Governor of the Central Bank didn't spare the National Treasury, while presenting before the National Assembly's Finance & Planning Committee, today on the issue of fiscal dominance.
Subtle tackles.
The National Assembly's Finance & Planning Committee asked the Governor of the Central Bank about lowering interest rates.
He made two points:
· Monetary Policy alone cannot lower rates, the fiscal side has to tag along & so far it isn't. FYI, the projected deficit for 2027/28 is Kes 1.353 trillion (5.9% of GDP), domestic borrowing is set at Kes 929.1 billion
· The Central Bank & the Bankers Association are working on developing an electronic registry of collateral & this is expected to ease the way Kenyans/borrowers can move their collateral from one bank to the next based on competing interest rates

In its last update, the Central Bank of Kenya's inflation forecast projected that October 2026's headline figure would be playing ~ 6.9% with a peak of ~ 7.2% around December 2026.
The latest print of 7.3% in October means the inflation outturn has raced ahead of the forecast & will be a key factor ahead of the December 2026 meeting (or any meeting convened ahead of the normal cycle, who knows)
Kenya's headline inflation posts a 50.0 bps jump & closes October 2026 at 7.3%, flirting with the Central Bank's prescribed upper bound of 7.5%.
It's the first time since July 2023 that the headline figure is above 7.0%.
Non-core inflation pressures quite elevated closing Oct at 15.1% as Core Inflation closes at 4.3%.

This map is all the maps in so far that it shows urbanised Africa. Nile basin, Mediterranean and Guinea coasts, Ethiopian Highlands, East African great lakes, southern lakes region and Cape agglomeration. That's it, that's the whole Africa, everywhere else doesn't matter.

Our second product is called Blindsight and it will, as the name suggests, enable even those who are completely blind or have never seen to see.
It is ready from an engineering standpoint. Just waiting on regulatory approval.
Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy.
It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.

Not bad at all.
China isn’t the new OPEC. @ColumbiaUEnergy's Erica Downs and Michal Meidan explain why its oil import cuts were about protecting its economy—and why trying to wield that buying power as a geopolitical weapon would be costly for China itself. Well worth reading.
