Today, I joined Senator @DaveCortese at the ribbon cutting of the Cesar Chavez Early Learning Center, a joint project by @AlumRockUnion School district, @kidango and @SOMOSMayfair to the first early childhood care and education facility of its kind in California to east San José!

#Childcare workers have been historically underfunded. The current survey for reimbursement rates is also outdated reflecting wages prior to a pandemic and rising inflation. Providers cannot & should not have to bear this burden #RaisetheRates4ChildCare
