The domain was sold for $100,000 on the nose.
Lambda.si was acquired by Lambda.ai following an inbound inquiry through Atom.

Funds just came in for a six-figure .si transaction our team helped negotiate. A few five-figure sales have closed recently too.
To be clear: demand for .ai still far exceeds demand for .si, and much of the early .si activity was speculative. But we are starting to see end users paying real money.
Whether this becomes a durable market or stays a handful of outliers is anyone's guess. Still very early, but worth watching.

Here's the story of how we paid $0 for a domain worth ~$250k
So at the beginning of the year we explored renaming in order to launch 2.0 of our product Mora.
We explored different options and we ended up falling in love with the name Mora.
But a premium 4-letter dot com can be very very expensive!!
We're just a young startup. We don't have that kind of cash. We need to hustle!
I spent hours writing down options, asking Claude how to negotiate, etc. And then i thought…
Wait what if we did it in exchange of equity? We had great early traction so far so it didn't hurt to ask.
The folks we talked to about it thought we were crazy! Including our domain broker (shout out Justin!)
We presented the option to the seller who ended up being open to it (luckily!)
We went through some diligence and ended up closing it!
I think a great name compounds the same way a great product does. So this effort was worth it!

💡 Today's Domaining Tip 💡
A tool called Mapileads has been trending lately on X and for good reason.
It got so much attention (and traffic) that it actually went into maintenance mode 😅
For domainers doing outbound, this is a very interesting scraper with a clean UX/UI. If you don’t have dev skills, tools like this can save you a lot of time when prospecting leads and finding potential buyers.
I tested it yesterday and tried to made a video about it today… but success hit fast and the platform is currently under maintenance.
👉 Takeaway: Always keep an eye on emerging tools. The ones that break under success are often the ones worth watching.

Never get stuck chasing trends you already missed.
When a keyword trend is over, move on. Don’t cry over it and start registering weak names that will never sell.
Words like:

Agent
Intelligence
Brain
Bot
Robot
These are already crowded and aging fast.
But sometimes an older word comes back in a new context.
My AI agent recently detected several new startups using an interesting one:
“Colleague.”
Think about it.
What’s better than an agent, a bot, or a robot?
