I’d watch Alien anytime of year, it’s easily one of the greatest films of all time. I don’t hate any of the others but none come even close to this.

Drowned in sound, sweat, and torrential rain but worth it to see my faves @LosCampesinos in Chicago

Someone on the train has an objectively better pompadour than I and I’m not sure how to feel about it
One of the major highlights of #XMen97 (aside from it being a total bop so far) is providing a Cliffs Notes dissertation on all the references and comic backstory to the husband after every episode. I don’t know how my brain still retains all this.
Sitting in this airport terminal and looking at everyone around me, I am suddenly struck with great concern for America’s moisturizing habits.
I shouldn’t even talk about #supermaniv either privately or publicly but gosh this is so bad it’s good and then circles back to bad again. Like, it still has the cheese factor from earlier entries but almost nothing lands.
And as for #NuclearMan? I honestly don’t hate him. The concept at least is what I wanted from these movies as a kid, much like with 2 — #Supes going up against baddies who could give his powers a challenge. Aside from the nails, I think he’s actually pretty snazzy looking.
Finished the third season of Superman and Lois, which I quite liked — I think it’s a great show and sad to see it go with season 4! This got me thirsting for more Supes content so I started a rewatch of the original Superman movies, which I’ve not seen in literal decades.
Meanwhile, the turn of Superman into a total jerk is actually a really interesting thread in an otherwise loony narrative. As a kid it had me GLUED to the TV and u still think it’s a fascinating exploration of the character.
