I specifically came back to Twitter post Trump rebrand of AI to Superintelligence and SI, and having done hours of reading analysis and research here is why I think the rebrand will stick and is here to stay:-

Gold is down Oil is up AI stock worries BTC is down War worries in the Middle East All leads to one thing, slowdown in the domain market and most other emerging technologies. Unsafe environments makes a business want to mitigate risk, everything feels unsafe right now!

Superintelligence gaming will soon ruin all online gameplay when you’re playing vs a bot online without knowing.. soon games will have to run some kind of backend software to make sure there’s a human behind a game!

This is why I think in the next 12 months you will see a very gradual transition between the term Artificial intelligence to Superintelligence. Elon Musk is very politically astute and his just first to adhere and comply. Watch META, Nvidia and eventually rest fall in line.

What’s the current American request? Rebrand to SI, what’s the future American request? Military SI functionality soldiers and warfare as well as huge taxation to support the government.

So look at this in terms of I scratch your back you scratch mine, it’s a kind of binding yet not public agreement where AI companies go along with what Trump says for backing and funding and support, even military action (cough cough Venezuelan oil for AI companies!)

This issue is so strategic US is canabolising itself by supporting tech stocks vs its own treasury bonds and inflation. AI companies know this very well but don’t really discuss it.

AI is the backbone of the US financial market at this point of time, now imagine people pulling their money out of the market and the issues it will have for American competition with a china!

Don’t be shocked to see Hollywood movies coming soon about Superintelligence in all its glory in the next 24 months. Note despite the general public’s negative connotation of AI we see very little Hollywood movie negativity produced about AI.. hint hint!!

The term Superintelligence will take over what’s negative connotations AI had and with the new agency for oversight in AI safety, it’s likely we will have much less negative press in the future and slowly see a change in people perception of SI.

All entities are strongly linked with the US government and Donald Trump. It’s easy for Trump to put pressure on the funds behind these AI companies to start using the term SI.

Will in its own right become a brand globally. Second both Trump and Elon Musk fully understand what’s at stake and are fully sold and behind this rebrand. Thirdly much of the AI funding has come from the Middle East and stock market as well as gov entities.

So why will the word Superintelligence become the word of the future, first of all America dominates culture in the tech space, most other countries and companies simply copy the American innovation and brands in the tech space, thus a term that’s established in America..

I believe the term Superintelligence was a small part of this meeting that took place but was the center piece in terms of PR.

Fully grasping what’s at stake they all came together to discuss the challenges ahead in terms of politics of AI, security and challenges they will face in terms of energy and backend development.

These companies or so called frontier labs all know fully well they rely on 3 things. Government backing, funding and backend developments such as data centers, hardware and affordable energy to power the backend.

There’s a lot of press the rebrand was to help AI companies appear more able in order for the IPO’s to attract more funding but I think this goes far beyond the companies themselves and is directly related to the core American debt and economy itself.

So what happened with the rebrand? Due to its strategic significance and potential risk to the American economy bond market and growth as well as the Trump presidency, it was concluded to change the psychological profile of the term AI to SI.

If you look at how Trump managed to get the top AI and technology CEO’s who hate each other to attend the white house on a meeting and agree on some protocols on the governance of AI, and see its resemblance to the Manhattan project you’ll see similarities.

The only thing this AI sector resembles at this time is the 1930’s-40’s Manhattan project where the US took the best scientists and told them the doom or gloom news we must make the nuclear bomb before the Germans or else.

You have to understand the entire US economy and growth and stock market is dominated by the tech sector and AI and America is pinning all its hopes on AI to grow its way out of its debt, thus AI is a very strategic investment and sector for America.
