So, the Academy Museum is posting for an Institutional Archivist to “develop and implement” their records program. It’s listed as an ENTRY LEVEL position but requires 5+ yrs archival experience. No salary listed. In LA, an extremely HCOL city. Can we just not?!
Incredibly proud of our work.
Very pleased to be able to share the news that Best Practices for Archival Term Positions is now available online: osf.io/a4zc8/. I worked with an awesome group a people to put this together, could not have been done w/out the excellent leadership of @alisonarchivist

Glad they gave a lil more detail there so folks weren’t disappointed they couldn’t buy special shorts with lots of pockets for swabs and microspatulas, for doing conservation in hot weather

Note that the officers who
1. shoved a 75 year old man
2. them walked past him while he lay bleeding and motionless on the ground
3. then lied about their actions
weren’t fired but simply suspended pending investigation.
That’s the oversight these 57 cops found excessive.
#BREAKING: I’m told the entire @BPDAlerts Emergency Response Team has resigned from the team, a total of 57 officers, as a show of support for the officers who are suspended without pay after shoving Martin Gugino, 75. They are still employed, but no longer on ERT. @news4buffalo
