Government stopped a man who was fixing the road that leads to his house. He needs to go up and down to seek approvals on top of his own money.
I guess same issues with bus stop boys.
Instead of investing in expensive apartments, Airbnbs, restaurants and salons all over Accra, why don’t you boys come together, take up one of the Agenda 111 hospital projects, and complete it? You could establish a government-private partnership, operate it for an agreed number of years, recover your investment with interest, and still leave behind something that benefits the country for generations.

Remember the AMERI deal under the NDC and the PDS concession under the NPP? Two governments, two power scandals and Ghanaians are still sitting in the dark. Every energy "solution" seems to make someone rich except the consumer

This is one of the biggest problems in this country: nobody seems willing to tolerate a little personal inconvenience for the benefit of the larger society.
“No jobs, so I’m going to inconvenience everyone else by blocking the pedestrian walkway with my container shop because I have three children to feed.”
“Climbing the pedestrian bridge will take a few extra seconds, so I’m going to cross the highway elsewhere, even if it endangers other road users.”
“There’s a queue at the public toilet, so I’m going to defecate in the sea.”
There is a complete disregard for the collective good.
It’s all about what I can gain personally, and what I can gain now.
What we turn to forget is that rights have limits. One person’s rights should not come at the expense of another person’s rights.
Your right to make a living should not infringe on my right to use the pavement.
Your right to freedom of movement should not infringe on my right to use the highway safely, without having to contend with pedestrians crossing where they shouldn’t.
Your need to relieve yourself should not infringe on my right to live in a clean and sanitary environment.
As a people, we often make a lot of noise about being a God-fearing society.
Truth is, we are not. Deep down, we are just a bunch of selfish, self-serving people who endorse what benefits us personally and condemn what doesn’t.
Nobody seems to care about the bigger picture.
And yet, caring about the bigger picture is precisely how developed societies are built.
Which of them aren't?
As long as artisanal and small-scale miners aren't mining in forest reserves and water bodies that negatively impact the environment, the minerals meet government's eligibility requirement even if unlicensed... - Sammy Gyamfi (CEO, GoldBod)

Like I said days ago, in a few years, if not now, 50% or more Ghanaian marriages would end up in divorce because of mentalities people have concerning marriage.
“If a man wants a woman to submit, he should be willing to bear more financially. It is directly proportional. A man’s financial input in the home is directly proportional to his authority.”
- Stephana Sefa-Boateng shares her opinion on marriage and its dynamics in today’s world.

We see people not as they are, but as they appear to us. And these appearances are usually misleading.

See how we are praising her, just master the ability to communicate Ghanaian problems to them and they will praise you as the ultimate leader. That's why our leaders master communication instead of competence.
