I survived my night at work. I stayed late, came home, had something to eat, said hello to the family, and now I'm going to bed for the day
Today I was at home with Abigail. We then went to the doctor for a follow-up. That turned into an ambulance ride to the hospital for Abigail. All of this unexpected adventure left me with two one hour naps. Now I'm off to work and tired.
I've enjoyed my time off, but unfortunately after just over a week, it's time to go back to work and back to reality.
Today was another rainy day spent with Abigail. I finally brought her in to be seen by a health professional which took longer than expected. I'm hoping she'll start feeling better soon. Goodnight my tactical umbrellas.

I did my civic duty today and voted for checks and balances. That's something that is written in the constitution but is not followed by the party in power. 🌊

Lots of geocaches and fun times were had with friends but I'm happy to be home in my own bed. Goodnight my joyful replacements.
Today we drove back to Minnesota from Nebraska. Before we left we found some more geocaches including a lot of adventure labs. Driving back we stopped at the highest point in Iowa which wasn't all that much higher than the rest of it. About 200 caches of all kinds were found.
Along with geocaching, we went to a brewery for drinks. Tonight we ate at a steakhouse. Goodnight my fairies of the nectar.
After not very much sleep, I woke up early this morning to join 2 geocaching friends as we drove to Nebraska finding geocaches along the way. We went to a geocaching event and I climbed up a fire tower in a state park. Goodnight my fearless performers.
Today I mowed the lawn and did a few errands. Tonight the family went to the police station for a Halloween party and open house with all of the city owned vehicles, candy, food trucks, music, and kids activities. Goodnight my discriminatory dragons.

I came home from work this morning and got a few hours of sleep while Abigail was at school. Dinner at home with the family. That's how I spent the first of 9 days off. Goodnight my herd of turtles.
I enjoyed a full night's sleep and a lazy day at home watching football including seeing the Vikings win another game. I think I might be getting sick. Now for an hour nap before work.
