So I went to this same AP filling station Maitama, this afternoon to buy fuel. One of the attendants recognized me and rushed over, asking for my number and said she wanted to send me 5k airtime. She said the tweet I made about their N10k monthly salary really helped them. Their salary was increased to N71k that same month and has remained stable since then. Her smile melted my heart. I thanked her for the kind gesture and gave her more money than the 5k airtime she wanted to give me. She didn’t want to accept it, but I insisted. I’m so happy to be able to make others happy. 💃💃💃 Things we do for love ❤️❤️
This morning, I stopped by AP Filling Station in Maitama, opposite Transcorp, to fuel my car. To my surprise, I noticed the fuel attendants murmuring, so I decided to engage one of them since there weren’t many cars around. I asked what was going on, and the lady told me they had just protested to the management for a salary increase, but their request was rejected. I gently asked how much they earn monthly, and to my shock, she said they’re paid ₦10,000 per month. I asked if she meant ₦100,000, but she insisted it was ₦10,000. She even called one of her colleagues, and when I asked her, she confirmed it. Where is the Nigerian Labour Congress when you need them? This is exactly the kind of issue people likes of @sowore, @adeyanjudeji etc should be fighting for, instead of focusing solely on the presidency. Nigerians aren’t even fair to each other. How do they expect these workers to transport themselves, feed their families, and not be tempted to steal from customers? A big station like Androva Petroleum shouldn’t be paying staff such a disgracefully low salary. I hope they act fast. I feel genuinely sad for them and pray they get justice as soon as possible.

I congratulate my friend, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil, on his re-election for a record fourth term. @LulaOficial Your renewed mandate offers an opportunity to strengthen the longstanding friendship and *historical ties between Nigeria and Brazil.* As two leading nations of the Global South, we can promote economic integration and advance our shared interests in a rapidly changing global order. I look forward to expanding cooperation in trade and investment, agriculture and food security, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, science and technology, education, aviation, and cultural exchange. I affirm Nigeria's continued commitment to working with Brazil to strengthen multilateral cooperation and advance shared priorities in Africa, South America, and across the Global South. On behalf of the people of Nigeria, I wish you a successful new term in office. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President, Federal Republic of Nigeria Abuja October 26, 2026

As Progressives we must recognise that millions of Nigerians are going through a difficult phase, and young people are searching for opportunities. As we campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, our message must not be rooted in arrogance. It must be rooted in empathy. We must listen to the pain of the people, acknowledge their challenges, and communicate hope with sincerity. If we want Nigerians to trust our message, we must first show that we understand their realities and stand with them through difficult times. Let our campaign be defined by compassion and a genuine commitment to a better future for Nigerians. #ReElectPresidentTinubu

I think the National Youth Leader position of the APC should have gone to the North after four years of a Southerner.

For everyone who I have fought because of the National Youth leader, as far back 2023, I want you to please find a way in your heart to forgive me. 🙏🏿 To those who are supporting him, especially one guy called Adebayo Capital, don't let it be too late before you are liberated.

During his visit to the City Boy Movement Headquarters last week, the incoming Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat @drobafemihamzat, shared the powerful words President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT told him in New York: “Your worth is only noticed if you serve your people.” Those words became the opening line of his manifesto. Beyond the inspiration, President Tinubu provided him with the support he needed to deliver, from the 2006 census exercise in Lagos to subsequent assignments. Dr. Hamzat also highlighted the President’s ability to look beyond religion and ethnicity, his tenacity, and his unwavering commitment to nation-building. A powerful reminder that leadership is ultimately about service to the people.

This is really embarrassing. On election day in Osun, while party members were exhausted from months of campaigning and anxiously awaiting results, you chose to post a skit. At the time, INEC results already showed Adeleke leading by over 25,000 votes. That night, I called to explain how demoralising that was, especially coming from the Youth Leader. Instead of listening, you got upset and ended the call. Look at the reactions to your latest post, because you are competing and fighting with someone. Must your personal issues come before the party and the President? Dayo, you need friends who will tell you the truth. At a time when millions are making sacrifices and trusting that reforms will deliver results, this kind of conduct is not helpful. Do better Dayo!

Mr Ogundamisi, you are actually insufferable. Can't see any difference between this Chidi's post regarding the "an evening with the original city boy" event. Whilst we appreciate the acknowledgement that we are highly skilled on this end, pray tell, were the live coverage of the flag off also manipulated as your claim?
Tinubu’s Kaduna outing today raises questions about the optics of his Northern strategy. The turnout visible in the circulating footage hardly projects the overwhelming grassroots enthusiasm an incumbent seeking re election would want to showcase. Perhaps this explains the early efforts to cultivate an alternative geopolitical route ahead of 2027. Even more interesting, his well oiled online media machinery has been circulating old campaign photographs of Buhari campaign rally in Kaduna. And credit where it’s due: the media production team deserves an award for making the rally look packed to the rafters. Sometimes, the camera can manufacture the atmosphere that the crowd struggles to provide. When it comes to Northern votes, so pe o ti lor! Tinubu’s biggest political advantage may ultimately lie not in the strength of his own support, but in the opposition’s inability to unite behind a common candidate. In 2027, the opposition’s disunity could prove just as consequential as the president’s campaign.
