When I’m president it’ll be illegal to make a tv show or movie about twins without using actual twins.

If I was going to migrate domains, I'd take the opportunity to clean up old paths while I was there, eg: twitter. com/kpk/status/1234 -> x. com/@ kpk/post/1234 Doing both at once reduces link issues in future.

You know when you comment on one line in a PR, but github shows four lines, why is that?

If you've always wanted to try out Direct Indexing (& who hasn't?) then now is a good time to drop $20k on it, because a) it's near the start of the tax year so you can build losses to offset and b) if you use this referral link we both get a bonus. frec.com/referral/KKMAALNA

James is doing some good work on justifying why Direct Indexing works out, even when including bid/ask spreads.
We wrote a white paper on transaction costs for direct indexing, another neat read from a DS perspective. I was surprised to see just how (and how consistently) much bid-ask spreads change intra-day. frec.com/resources/blog/dire…

I did this for the longest time. Recently I’ve been trying Warp, which is nice, but I’m used to being able to type out three commands at once and Warp can’t handle it. Might go back.
I still use the stock Terminal app in MacOS

I often find myself wondering why my page navigated me elsewhere. Oddly difficult to debug. What's the best feature in Chrome's devtools that tells me who triggered the pushState?

Every morning I wish Google a good morning and one of the things it does is tell me a joke. But for the past week it’s been saying the same thing. Is the joke writer on vacation? On strike? Off sick? Can we get them back? Or replaced?

If I get a humane badge thing, can I have a phone as well? I’m not giving up my iPhone, that’s just out of the question, so can the thing work with it or no?

Is that bundled with something? I’m always wary of MS stats on subscribers be usage. 1m is a lot!
GitHub Copilot has crossed the chasm. We are thrilled to share that Copilot now has over 1 million paid subscribers in over 37,000 organizations, making it the most widely adopted AI developer tool in history. And we're not even close to done 👀 zdnet.com/article/microsoft-…

Frec's direct indexing takes advantage of tax loss harvesting. We compared our system to another common approach (switching between ETFs), and found it was about 2x better. Read our analysis here: frec.com/resources/blog/tax-…

I’m actually pretty interested in the results of the $1 charge. I see a lot of whining, but I think it’s an interesting experiment. Photo: suspicious likes from a multitude of people with the same name.
