Heavy Metal Death Can was a lot of fun. Great throwback to early survival horror. The fixed camera angles were well done. The controls felt tight and responsive, even with tank controls. The monster designs were also really good. There were moments I was worried about resources but managed to pull through with what it offered. The story was fun. Sentient oil monster takes over a sub and turns most of the crew zombie like. The goal is to get the sub running again. The heavy music during certain scenes was a nice touch. I hate to call it a Resident Evil clone. Because it certainly stands alone just fine. But it's certainly one of the better games of that genre. Maybe some cheesy voice acting would have helped.
