So folks at @espn are upset ND isn’t playing in a bowl game after weeks of folks politicking against the lack of conference affiliation, using them as a pawn for their CFB playoff selection show, having the ACC network play the UM/ND game on repeat for 48 hours during Conf Champ week BUT now it’s a bad look they don’t want to serve ESPN’s best interest by playing in an exhibition bowl game? Legendary offensive line coach, Harry Hiestand, who I played for at Notre Dame between '15-'18 gave me some of the best life advice before my first season as the starter.
He told me to "simplify my life".
This was obviously within a larger conversation we were having at the moment but I don't think I fully comprehended back then but today, I use it as a daily reminder - mostly in the way of making less, but more quality, decisions throughout my day.

Tragic news continues to arrive in these days from the Middle East, especially from Gaza. I express my profound sadness regarding last Thursday’s attack by the Israeli army on the Catholic Parish of the Holy Family in Gaza City, which as you know killed three Christians and gravely wounded others. I pray for the victims, Saad Issa Kostandi Salameh, Foumia Issa Latif Ayyad, Najwa Ibrahim Latif Abu Daoud, and I am particularly close to their families and to all the parishioners.
