+5 years of experience qualify me to say that the @BU_CNIO is not only a great scientific team, but a group composed by the best human beings that you can find in the field, something harder to find than it should be. PS Music might not always be the best, specially on christmas.

But current tools for perturbation prediction perform worse than simple linear models! We need more careful benchmarking to make progress.

Finishing up my PhD in 2012 I had a stipend of €18k. A decade later my students have a stipend that is only marginally higher (€18.5k, 3% increase). In the same time period rent for a single room in Dublin has gone up almost 70%. This is completely unsustainable.
