VIRTUA FIGHTER CROSSROADS
โ
"Les jeux sont faits, rien ne va plus."
โ
A mysterious young martial artist named Lionel has arrived in the city of Vilasapara.
โ
A highly skilled fighter capable of outclassing Cielo in a street fight, he is a force to be reckoned with. But what is his true reason for coming to this city?โโ

This one really hurts. I grew up with those original X-Men films. Patrick Stewart is one of those actors that felt irreplaceable in his role because he portrayed it so impeccably.
Rest in Peace ๐

Patrick Stewart Reveals What He Wants Everyone to Remember About Him When heโs No More.
โIt got me wondering backstage just now: What if tonight were my last big public appearance?โ
โHow would I want to be remembered? What would I want people to say?โ
โSo, in the event that this is it for me, Iโd like to take a few moments to remember a great man whom I know has meant a lot to all of us hereโฆโ
Then Stewart delivered the punchline:
โMe.โ

I'm sorry, but The Legend of Korra's animation was too good for Nickelodeon, I can't remember any show quite like it in the early 2010s, and the fact that they still tried to sabotage it.....

Seeing Patrick Stewart play Professor X as a kid for the first time was a magical experience. He brought so much gravitas, warmth and depth to every version of the character over the years
One of the best casting choices ever, Iโm glad weโll get to at least see him one more time

Thereโs a scene in ATLA where Aang goes to a fire nation school.
In this school the kids are taught incorrect information about the air nomad genocide, and the viewer learns how the fire nation is re-writing history and presenting it to their children as fact
Food for thought

1. It's not plot armour... She literally trained the entire season to learn airbending and even Tenzin said it would just "click"... And in that moment it "clicked"... The same way earth bending clicked for Aang after spending the episode learning it
2. That scene was literally a visual representation of her unlocking the avatar state... An avatar connecting to their spiritual side at their lowest is not plot armour
3. "All of a sudden there's a tree of time"?... The same tree that was literally shown all through the season? Plus it was a combination of the tree and harmonic convergence (Another thing that was set up throughout the season)
4. You mean the Jinora who was amped by the harmonic convergence(Which was set up throughout the season) who was also set up as her SPIRITUAL GUIDE who only came to illuminate Raava within Vaatu(Something that was also set up)... Lmao
Imagine comparing valid writing choices to Aang randomly hitting a rock of the exact shape and size and in the exact position to enter his wound. ๐
Since you like plot armor, two can play that game.
Korra unlocking airbending the exact second Amon takes her ability to bend is plot armor.
Aangโs spirit casually showing up to fully restore korra's bending after she lost it was plot armor.
Korra got her ass so beat she lost the past lives. All of a sudden from there's tree of time in the spirit world which allows Korra to enter a cosmic state to stop unavaatu. Another plot armor.
In that cosmic state Korra got beat again! From nowhere comes jinora with a bright light to save korra's ass. Do you want more?
