There are a lot of great MLB NFTs out there, but the 2021 Topps Inception Legendaries remain some of my favorites.
They survived a broken platform, a token bridge, a remint, and countless other hurdles. Only a fraction of the original mints ever made it. They have history. They have lore. Theyāve collected plenty of digital dust and dings along the way, yet they still shine as bright as the day they first hit the blockchain.
Thereās still a ways to go with digital collectibles, but the history (and roadmap) is being written every day. The road is long, but the grails that survive the journey will always tell the best stories.

I'm generally holding the sports NFT pause, but I did pick up some Topps NFTs since that market opened up and some interesting opportunities popped up.
I like them all but the bigger pickups in this group are the Lewandowski, Haaland, Soto, and Vladdy auto (1st mint).

I'm sure there will be plenty of posts crapping on this news, but I'm really happy that this remint has been officially completed, the security issue has been fixed, and the collection is now structured properly.
Topps introduced a lot of uncertainty into these collectibles, starting with how they handled Wax. They were ahead of the curve in that regard.
It will be interesting if they do anything more with NFTs or if they just wanted to check the box.
Regardless, we have access to our collections again.
