OOMFS WHO WANT TO PLAY ON NEW UNUSED ACCOUNTS TO GET IT HMU
CLEARING UP PIRATE TOKEN RUMOURS & "METHODS"
1. PARTY MEMBER RESTRICTIONS
I've seen people claiming that if someone in your party already owns an item, nobody else can get it. This is FALSE
After testing with my community (discord.gg/reshade), we've confirmed:
- Players who don't own the item can still receive it, regardless of who they're playing with.
- Players who already own the item won't receive anything, but will still see the chest opening animation
- You can also pull the duplicate item for other players yourself, but the chance appears to be EXTREMELY LOW.
Bottom line: Play with whoever you want. There's no party restriction based on owned items.
2. THE SO-CALLED "METHODS"
Most of these methods are engagement farming. There is currently NO guaranteed way to obtain a treasure.
However, something I've personally noticed is that newer players (first 5 or so games) seem to have better luck. For example, I'm at around 700 chests and got the pickaxe while playing with someone on their 3rd game. Meanwhile, I've gone another 500 chests without receiving anything.
