Just finished the #WolverinePS5 game
It’s pretty good. It’s a solid character action game.
Enemies and boss fights were on the forgiving side if you know how to use your cooldowns and regen health.
The parry system has a big window. The collectibles aren’t annoying but I wish they were tied to set piece scenes. It kills momentum when I’m supposed to be dealing with enemies in a stealth situation and the whiskey bottle is right there.
The story is good too. I think this is my favorite version of Wolverine. Same with the rest of the cast.
The whole sabertooth and Wolverine are gay thing people were complaining about was over blown. Sabertooth was just open emotionally about how Logan leaving Team X made him feel and when he comes back. Not a big deal, closeted chums can’t handle real emotions. So feelings = gay to them.
All in all it’s pretty short didn’t take me that long to finish it on normal. I did do the nightmare doors and I missed one somewhere. I think maybe 20 hours but could be wrong.
Don’t buy it full price, wait for it to be on sale or borrow it from a friend and play it over a long weekend. Worth playing but not for $70.
