For those that might be virtual...last year we condensed our 12 days into a week. Staff posted pictures on a Padlet that matched the theme for the day They also would lead their Google Meets with holiday-themed attire on - it was different, but still pretty fun! #MEMSPAchat

A4: JEANS THROUGH JANUARY! We also have a staff spirit week in March along with Secret Cupid the week of Valentine's Day. I try to keep things as light as possible during the long stretch between Winter and Spring Break. #MEMSPAchat

A3: Giving the gift of time. Still working on logistics, but I'd love to give staff a little extra time leading up to the hustle and bustle of the holidays. #MEMSPAchat

A2: Every year, I write a personalized note to each and every staff member and take the time to hand-deliver them and wish them the happiest of holidays the day before break. #MEMSPAchat

A1: We have our 12 Days of Christmas that include various dress up days and treats for staff. It's so fun to see them participating and spreading holiday cheer in the days leading up to break! #MEMSPAChat

A3: I often join the lesson by sitting next to students and learn alongside them. I love joining them for various learning games. They often debate who will be the next to try to "beat the principal"! I feel blessed that our team allows me to be involved! #MEMSPAchat

A2: When in the hallways, I make it a point to say hi to students and staff, calling them by name. I also have monthly read alouds scheduled in each classroom to stay connected to students in their space. #MEMSPAchat

A1: Intentionality is key for me! I build time into my calendar toward the end of the summer (when my calendar is the emptiest) and when it pops up through the year, out I go! #MEMSPAchat
