1/ We have marked Swapter as a scam.
Large swaps are held for months and never paid or refunded, even after users sent ID and proof of funds.

3/ Small swaps still go through, which keeps the reviews looking good. Large ones do not.
We emailed Swapter twice and waited months. Many users also wrote to them. Nobody got an answer, not even in their live chat.
Not only email addresses, but physical addresses too, appear to have been exposed.
Buying a hardware wallet under your name and having it shipped to your home address is effectively a form of KYC.

Hi, unfortunately, one of our shipping providers has experienced a data breach that exposed sensitive order data. We also confirmed that the attackers are combining various leaked crypto databases, as these have been received even by people who are not Trezor customers.

49.35 SOL (~$4,000) deposited July 17, no Monero sent. They denied the deposit address was theirs. So we made swap orders on their own site: the addresses it returned lead to the wallets that took his money.

A swap security issue has been identified and is being fixed.
Until the patch is live, withdraw your offers, don't start new swaps, and if you have a swap in progress (especially stalled or near timeout), shut your node down and leave it off.
