I understand Abdul El-Sayed’s annoyance with an establishment wing that I’d call sore losers since his primary win. Still, I don’t know if his instinct to hit back serves him so close to Election Day.
“Why not just denounce the ad” is a fine question to ask. But if you’re a Democrat who believes in the stakes of this race, I think “What is Haley Stevens doing?” is an equally important one, especially since the ad in question didn’t come from his campaign
