We’re sharing Typewriter, a framework for app-controlled sequencing.
With Typewriter you can write your app logic in Solidity and have all boilerplate interactions between the sequencer and the smart contract handled by the library
Try it and let us know what you think!
Introducing Typewriter, an open-source framework for crypto apps that offers custom transaction sequencing, fast confirmations, and built-in accounts with gas sponsorship.
Typewriter enables better UX by giving developers more control over the transaction supply chain.
Typewriter is a framework that gives developers more control over their transaction supply chain, without the engineering investment of building the infrastructure from scratch.

Ponder has work-in-progress support for eth_query methods. Backfilling standard logs data is 5-10x faster. Transactions, traces, and transfers are 100x faster.

Excited to propose five new JSON-RPC methods to fetch EVM blockchain history: blocks, transactions, logs, traces, and native transfers.
These methods address longstanding Ethereum data problems at the protocol layer, through an open standard that any EVM chain can adopt.

mera is now open source: one passkey prompt generates a crypto account (secp256k1 or Ed25519) with no smart-account contracts or custody backend. The same account restores on any device that has your passkey. Built by @mveehkim.

Just received one of the highest-quality external contributions in Ponder’s 3+ year history.
Ponder uses an in-memory cache to avoid slow database queries. Like an operating system separates kernel space from user space, Ponder copies cached values so mutations in indexing functions can’t leak across boundaries.
A bug in that isolation is fixed in v0.17.2.

Introducing Ultrafuzz: an agentic orchestrator for Solidity smart contract fuzzing
A single command spins up a cluster of agents to:
- Map the protocol's actors and flows
- Enumerate properties using open-source material from leading industry experts, including @Certora, @trailofbits, @rv_inc, @a16zcrypto, @getreconxyz, and others
- Run 20+ fuzzing strategies in parallel
- Adjudicate findings and generate a report
Ultrafuzz builds on years of fuzzing research, paired with state of the art best practices of AI orchestration

For a single sequencer, order is decided at arrival and nothing later can change it. So a FIFO sequencer that doesn't respond in ~0ms is telling on itself. Pure FIFO is instant by construction.
