Live reps for outfielders are golden. Take advantage of every opportunity.
Some thoughts from the scrimmage between Vandy & Walters State:
Tim Corbin is still a fungo master.
Every time there’s a throw down in between innings, all the players on Vandy’s bench yell “runner” just like they would if it was live.
Vandy used two left fielders a couple innings for more reps reading the ball off the bat. Only one of them actually would play it live.
Walters State made Hawkins Field looks small in BP. One player hit 5 straight bombs.
Shadows during different times of the day made it tough for hitters to see spin.
Hawkins Field renovations will look incredible when the construction is complete.
Pitching prospect after pitching prospect out there for both teams all day long.
Perfect weather. Fun day of baseball.

A message to 2028 baseball players.
You aren’t getting recruited. And if you are, there’s no security - even if you’re committed.
We created a generalized list of what college coaches have going on between now and you getting to campus. Give this one a listen.
We work directly with coaches at every level. They have a lot to focus on before you are at the top of the list.

‘28 Logan Leffler is maybe the hardest worker we have.
Up to 90 after going +11 MPH in the past year with space to add 30+ more pounds in high school.
Getting more athletic in his delivery and getting comfortable with tight spin after this clips were shot.
He’s a long, twitchy mover who may be mid-90s year one on campus.

Aggressive approach with big time pop generating through the lower half. Wilbert gets all of this one for a 2 Run 💣 to center.
