@JG_Mal and I have a paper now out in @_Food_Policy! Drought's a big issue for farmers in East Africa. How much can improved practices and seeds offset drought's consequences on household food security and dietary diversity?

As @JG_Mal described, we find better management practices such as use of improved maize can improve household food security, but not enough to fully offset the effects of drought. Check it out in @_Food_Policy : authors.elsevier.com/c/1fdXM…
