Say no to the “pro-Palestine” industrial complex, Islamism, and cultural relativism: These scenes cannot become normal in the Western world. Earlier today in Copenhagen, Palestinian and Arab immigrants and their descendants were filmed chanting for Hamas, the al-Qassam Brigades, Yahya Sinwar, Abu Obaida, jihad, the destruction of Tel Aviv, and terrorism under the banner of being “pro-Palestine” (video source: Moumen Al-Natour @moumalnatour). For three years since October 7, this behavior has been excused, minimized, or dismissed as fringe. In reality, it has become a recurring and alarming trend across North America, Europe, and Australia. As Palestinians in Gaza increasingly reject Hamas, segments of diaspora Arab, Palestinian, and Muslim communities have embraced the group as the embodiment of “resistance” and the supposed voice of Gazans. Equally troubling is how academics, journalists, influencers, activists, politicians, and celebrities have obscured these pro-Hamas sentiments by presenting them as merely advocacy for Palestinian rights. Some have relied on “cultural relativism” that blurs basic moral distinctions. Yet there is nothing complicated about condemning Hamas’s torture of Palestinians, theft of aid and resources, disastrous two-decade rule, decision to launch October 7, devastation of Gaza, and perpetration of the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. The tolerance of Islamist extremism in Western societies, and the reluctance to confront openly hateful and pro-terror rhetoric, risks deepening polarization and instability. It is long past time to scrutinize pro-Hamas ideology, activism, and narratives that have gained traction among politicians, students, journalists, and protest movements. Nor is it “racist” or “Islamophobic” to oppose campaigns targeting Jewish-owned businesses or attempts to pressure businesses into adopting political litmus tests. Democratic societies should confront extremism consistently, regardless of who promotes it.

I'm confused, outraged, and upset by the lack of the world's reaction to the criminal Russian double-tap in Komyshuvakha. Search and rescue operations have been underway for 3 days now following a Russian strike on a school. Russians launched 9 guided aerial bombs, initially targeting residents gathered to receive humanitarian aid, and then striking the first responders and police officers who arrived at the scene. People were there to receive bread! The death toll is currently at 40 people, with over 30 still missing, and after three days, considering the explosions were so strong that recovered bodies are actually "fragments," that means that they are likely gone too. I can't understand why this is not news, why the f*** is this normalized???

Occorre sottolineare l’ovvio… mala tempora… Roberto Damico. Come etnia, El-Sayed è ARABO.

💔 Don’t stop talking about Komyshuvakha! We all saw the ruins of an underground school in Komyshuvakha that Russia struck with 9 guided aerial bombs while people were gathered there to receive humanitarian aid. 🇺🇦 This is what the school looked like just over a year ago, when it opened its doors for the first time. 🔽 The school was built on the grounds of the Komyshuva Gymnasium “Dzherelo,” which was destroyed by Russian forces in July 2023. On the first day of classes, Ukraine’s Minister of Social Policy, Denys Uliutin, visited the school and personally inspected how well it met the principles of accessibility, safety, and inclusivity. He stated that day: “The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child guarantees every child the right to education. Even amid the war, as Russia destroys childhoods, Ukraine, with the support of international partners, is ensuring that these rights are upheld. Thanks to safe educational spaces, children can interact, learn, and develop. This is the foundation of our future.” Ivan Fedorov, head of Ukraine’s State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development, said today that some Russian aerial bombs weighed three tons and had three times the destructive power of a ballistic missile — something underground schools in Ukraine are not designed to withstand in a direct hit. 33 people were killed, and more than 50 others may still be trapped under the rubble.

This was a disturbing and deeply embarrassing scene in Gaza City today during the funeral of a man killed in an Israeli airstrike for allegedly being affiliated with Hamas. Members of his clan fired thousands of rounds into the air, initially causing panic and confusion among residents who did not understand what was happening. The spectacle of armed men recklessly discharging weapons sparked widespread anger and contempt among many Gazans, who viewed it as yet another example of the destructive behavior of powerful clans in the Strip. The incident renewed calls to disarm Gaza's clans and militias and remove weapons from civilian hands to reduce crime, curb intra-Palestinian violence, strengthen the rule of law, and break patterns of behavior that fuel radicalization, intimidation, and the dominance of armed actors over civil society. Many Palestinians bitterly note the irony that these same clans and armed strongmen, so eager to display their power before fellow Palestinians, tend to disappear when confronted by the Israeli military. Time and again, tribal militias, criminal gangs, and other armed actors avoid direct confrontation with the IDF, yet readily turn their weapons on other Palestinians, whether against Palestinian Authority forces in the past or, at times, even against Hamas itself. There should be no tolerance for lawlessness. Neither "martyrs" nor their families have the right to terrorize an entire society in the name of archaic notions of honor, death glorification, or tribal privilege. Hamas and Gaza's powerful clans alike must be disarmed, for the sake of Palestinians and Israelis alike.

✍🏻 Roberto Riccardi Ha paura e fa bene. E accade a Berlino.

Oleshky: a return of some of the Ukrainians to Ukraine-controlled territory who survived the Russian occupation and the aftermath of Russia blowing up the Kakhovka Dam, a Russian crime that flooded their land and homes. Russia has starved them, took away their food, provided no medicine, and did not allow them to leave. Many people died - were killed - during the Russian occupation and in the aftermath of the flooding. We cannot know the exact figures, as this territory remains under Russian control. Now Russians are trying to portray this as an act of humanism on their part. But in reality, they were pressured into letting these people go - people whose land and homes they had seized, whom they had tormented and condemned to death by starvation. People left behind their seized and destroyed homes and fled to avoid starving to death. Almost all chose to go to Ukraine. And I thank everyone who took part in this extremely difficult humanitarian mission, everyone who contributed and helped save Ukrainian lives.
Newsmax journalist Shelby Wilder on the situation in Oleshky: Russia is using this humanitarian operation as a propaganda opportunity. Moscow wants to portray itself as the rescuer of civilians in a city that it occupies, one it has destroyed and plunged into this humanitarian crisis. And we need to be clear, Russia controls what we are going to be allowed to see. Moscow appears to have brought in numerous Russian media compared to just the one American news outlet.

“Dear Italian students, who today take to the streets carrying flags with the hammer and sickle and wearing T-shirts emblazoned with ‘CCCP’,” began an open letter in Italian by Lithuanian expat Neringa Budryt. “I would like to ask you a question: do you truly know what the symbols you carry represent? And do you know what would have happened to many of you had you openly demonstrated in countries living under the oppression of communist regimes? Let me tell you something. It is easy to display a red flag when, for you, communism is merely an abstract idea of equality, social justice, and rebellion against the system. It is easy to wear a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it when you have never experienced the reality of a communist regime. We come from that part of Europe where communism was not a T-shirt, a symbol of rebellion, or a romanticized notion of equality. It was the system in which we lived—a system we never chose. We know the history of Soviet repression, Stalinist purges, the Gulags, and mass deportations. Above all, we know the word "Siberia"—a place to which thousands of innocent people were forcibly deported, simply for thinking differently. In Siberia—amidst freezing cold, starvation, and forced labor—many lost their lives; those who survived carried the scars of that experience forever. Entire families were torn apart, and generations were denied the chance to live freely in their own homeland. In the countries of the Soviet bloc, censorship, political police, surveillance, and the suppression of dissent drastically curtailed individual freedoms. We grew up in a system where state control permeated even our daily lives. At school, we were required to wear the red necktie of the "Pioneers." We were monitored; they tracked where we went and even whether we attended church. Even faith—a choice that should belong to an individual’s own conscience—could become a cause for suspicion. We used to celebrate Christmas with our windows blacked out, to ensure no one would see us and report us. Because it was forbidden—just like so many other things: jeans, rock music, and all the symbols of a Western lifestyle. My mother returned from a Soviet labor camp. And do you know what happened to her? She was barred from continuing her education because she had been labeled an enemy of communism. Under a communist regime, you could not protest. You risked arrest, imprisonment, interrogation, persecution—and, in certain historical contexts, even death. In the Soviet Union and other communist regimes, political dissent could cost you your freedom and your life. Demonstrations independent of the authorities were not a guaranteed right; they were often suppressed by force. That is why it strikes me to see young Italians proudly displaying the hammer and sickle—symbols associated with regimes that persecuted and imprisoned millions of people. Today, you are free to take to the streets, shout against the government, criticize institutions, and wave your flags precisely because you live in a democracy that grants you these freedoms. Under an authoritarian regime of that kind, protesting against those in power could have landed you in prison. This is not about denying the existence of social injustices, inequalities, or the right to fight for a better world. You are free to take to the streets to demand a more just society—but you should not idealize a system that denied so many people the very things you are free to exercise today: the right to choose, to believe, to speak, and to dissent. Before wearing a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it, listen to those who experienced that world. Talk to the deportees and their descendants; read the accounts of those who endured the gulags and forced exile to Siberia. Learn what it meant to be stripped of your freedom, your home, your loved ones—and even any prospect of a normal life—simply because of your background or your beliefs. Before waving the hammer and sickle, please, study history thoroughly.”
