The Riftbound community is working through issues is because Riftbound has generated a non-male playerbase large & loud enough to voice concerns that are silently present in most TCGs and early enough that it isnโt a โshiftโ in the playerbase away from a โnorm.โ
I've been playing TCGs for a very long time and been a part of multiple TCG communities. Coming into Riftbound, my goal is to make sure that our community is as welcoming and drama-free as possible.

The court dismissed Tsuda's request to delete the TikTok videos because they had already been deleted, BUT stated that a performer's voice IS PROTECTED by publicity rights.

The Jujutsu Kaisen and Yu-Gi-Oh! voice actor sued TikTok over more than 180 videos that allegedly used AI to imitate his distinctive voice without permission.
The Tokyo District Court dismissed the case after TikTok and the user involved had already removed the account and videos, meaning there was no longer content for the court to order removed.
However, the ruling also addressed an important issue, recognizing that a personโs voice can be protected as a personal symbol under publicity rights.
That makes Tsudaโs case significant beyond the outcome itself.
As AI becomes increasingly capable of recreating familiar voices, the question of who has the right to use those voices is only becoming more important.
