this feels (and probably is) wrong on so many levels
but here is a handless clock using the variable font Ehrie by @blast_foundry and some js to tell the time

so instead of hiding the alternates in the stylist sets basement you can generate a variable font and have an axis that is only doing alternates.
no clue if this is valid. but it works in @axis_praxis and @drawbotapp not ind cc2020
