About 70% of Canadian goods exports go to one customer. That is not a partnership. It is a concentration risk we spent 60 years calling a partnership. trapped.net

Falling productivity and a declining standard of living are the direct results of these systemic issues.
We propose a path forward through five key solutions:
1) Release our resources to world markets by building three tidewater ports and the required pipelines.
2) Cut and sunset unnecessary regulations.
3) Cease all interprovincial trade barriers and dismantle supply management systems. We can compete globally without these protections.
4) Improve healthcare by allowing provinces to introduce private sector competition for public funding without penalty. A healthy economy needs healthy people.
5) Rework equalization payments to stop rewarding economic stagnation.
It is time to start becoming competitive again.

Canada’s cultural problem isn’t a lack of talent, resources, or ideas. It’s that we’ve normalized aiming for the bronze.
For decades we’ve built a system that rewards process over results, vetoes over decisions, and managed decline over ambition. Special interests block projects. Internal barriers keep us trading more with the U.S. than with ourselves. The Laurentian instinct treats Western strength as a problem to manage rather than a national advantage to use.
We celebrate “elbows up” symbolism while accepting third place as the natural outcome. Trump’s pressure didn’t invent this. It just made the cost obvious.
Going for gold means accepting conflict, speeding up approvals, tearing down internal walls, and treating prosperity as the goal instead of the risk. Bronze feels safer. It’s also how you stay trapped.net

So, Canada has been selling the US $100bil worth of oil at GLOBALLY lowest price.
25% of US gas is refined from WCS. It would go up $1/gal without Canada.
But Canada has been taking advantage?
Without that oil, US has a $60bil trade SURPLUS with Canada.
