As an athlete, you’re remembered most by your biggest achievements, not your failures. Let this give you the courage to take risks and the resilience to bounce back from adversity.

Humbled to be a part of the selection process for the 2022 Borrelli Awards, carrying on the legacy of the late Buffalo News lacrosse writer who I unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to work with. Congrats to this year's winners!
The winners of the 2022 Tom Borrelli Memorial Award as the most outstanding senior lacrosse players in Western New York are:
Emilee Josker of Frontier
and
Travis Fry of Akron.

Be both self-motivated and coachable. Be independent enough to motivate yourself, and humble enough to allow your coaches to motivate you as well.

Great players don’t just want it more, they’re more willing:
- Willing to be coached hard
- Willing to be held accountable
- Willing to be challenged
- Willing to put the team first
- Willing to sacrifice personal glory
- Willing to do what it takes to win

Why are kids set on D1 or bust?!? There’s so many kids I see commit to a “bigger” school and sit the bench, when they could have came to play for me as a 4-year starter.
If all you’re worried about is a commitment post you are missing out on a great opportunity somewhere else.
Great night for our youth program in our first scrimmage of the summer! We are so proud of everyone’s hard work and effort today 💙🤍🥍 #Family
