Celebrating Dr Sergiu Dumitrescu’s successful PhD defense at @MedUni_Wien! His work shows that certain reactive oxygen species from NOX4 are essential for the proliferation of human amniotic stem cells. Sergiu will continue as a Postdoc in the Sepsis-Trauma-Shock Group of @osuchm

Congrats to Dr. Marlene Wahlmüller on defending her PhD at JKU Linz! 👏👏 In a joint project between Morphomed & LBI Trauma, she explored how ASCs can transform personalized medicine - investigating how lipedema, donor age, and senescence affect therapeutic stem cell function.
