We had the honour of catching up with Gareth Farrelly after today's Dublin Marathon. Farrelly was running his first marathon to raise funds for the @Hambofoundation. He learned of Matt Hampson's story from his autobiography, which was co-written by Paul Kimmage and it had an extraordinary effect on him. Gareth was just one of the thousands of people who finished today's marathon to support a bigger cause

I have a great @ericsliveinfo story of being in school and going to see #TheDoomed one Friday night. No idea how I got in as I looked about 12. Met Scabies and the Capt at the bar & got talking. Ended up backstage and they gave me a signed copy of New Rose. I wish I still had it.

Since 2020, Marine have played in the FA Cup against Colchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Wrexham and now they face Bradford City. Two promotions in the middle of all that and an FA Trophy semi. Not financed by a divvie with loads of money. Just used what they've earned smartly.

Hertha Berlin had a shout for a penalty and the referee got sent over to the monitor. Before he could look, a few fans ran on and pinched the VAR cable 🤣 Screen dead, ref staring at nothing, so the VAR official just made the decision for him. Penalty awarded, penalty scored. Football is so back 🤣🤣
