This is like what Prince did by keeping his music off the Internet until his death. He basically prevented an entire generation of millennials from learning his music at the height of the iPod, MySpace, and YouTube. The damage was already done for zoomers too by the time he died.

This is what I miss about shows having filler episodes, sometimes creators would recreate older shows within their own show with the main cast taking up the roles

I find it really odd Chuck Jones once drew Woody Woodpecker cause he supposedly disliked Walter Lantz

Big fan of how, late in the series' run, they just decided to make a bunch of exceptionally goofy, animated Sanford and Son episodes disguised as Billy and Mandy episodes

Queen are a great band, I just wish radio stations would play Princes of the Universe or Ogre Battle or The Invisible Man instead of just that song Mike Myers headbanged to in Wayne's World.

The other main takeaway from the Gabler bio is that Disney was 1000% on the spectrum

And yet, as a result of all this, he somehow wound up birthing the ultimate Capitalism Machine-Monster that basically runs the world today, long after he's gone... purely through the sheer power of his undiagnosed autism

As long as he was able to make his Snow White film, or his theme park, or his robots, or whatever he was fixated on at the moment he seemingly did not give a flying fuck about the state of his company. He would get pissed off if Roy or any of the money-men tried to warn...

Spent his early years with no money, when he got some he would routinely risk it all against the advice of his brother (who handled the company's finances)/the banks, just to pursue whatever he was obsessed with at the moment. Largely the opposite of a sensible businessman

He's a very interesting historical figure. A hurt child who spent his adult life constructing his own fantasy kingdom (first the studio, then the park) where everything was exactly the way he envisioned it. And in the decades following his death it basically took over the world.

After reading the Neal Gabler biography on Walt Disney there is a big thing you learn: Walt Disney did not make Disneyland for children, nor did he make it for adults. He made it for Walt Disney. If he could have lived there and never let another person in he probably would have

The 90s anime really had those insanely detailed mech designs. We still haven’t gotten back to that level

Another tragic thing about this is that now we live in an era where Robin has been treated as such a dirty little secret to keep in the closet, if kids know him at all, it's as the leader of the Teen Titans with no connection to Batman.
