the salesforce of the future is creators.
creators will be your salespeople, the sales conversation becomes their content.
it is the embodiment of pull marketing, and it’s the most perfect, scientific blend of direct response and brand marketing.
dropped a Skool group where i’m sharing daily insights on the offers we’re scaling
weekly calls with hot seats + specific trainings
insane guest speakers (already have had industry leaders on)
has all of the assets, SOPs and playbooks we’re actively using
if you want access DM me
most of your cold traffic marketing failures come down to 2 things:
1. writing to inform instead of shift a belief
2. trying to manufacture desire instead of channeling an existing one
luckily this can easily be solved with a simple framework
[persona] wants [desire]. they believe [blocking belief], so they haven’t gotten it yet
audit your marketing assets.. your ads, your emails, your VSLs
there is probably a huge limiting belief you are not murdering in your marketing that is limiting conversion
if you aren’t handling how they can get the outcome while simultaneously removing there limiting beliefs they will not move through the buying process
or you’re just writing to a desire that isn’t even strong or present with your avatar
rule of thumb with desires.. they all start with “i want” or “i need”
hope you lads are cooking this q4
time allocation as a founder is the most
important thing to consistently feedback loop yourself on
you need to be doing more of the unsexy things
stop doing tasks for the sake of “12 hour days”
work on what the business NEEDS not what you WANT
so yesterday in the morning i used ai to repurpose our best performing ad
made 4 diff concepts, exact same copy
the ad is a selfie yap video
so of those concepts was taking the exact same selfie video & removing the captions the editor had put on it
i told claude to add some lofi music to the background instead of the music we had
then i said to make it split screen & to visually depict the script into a stick figure story on the bottom half
claude proceeds to 1 shot it, no re-prompt needed
i sent to media buyer to upload same day
today that same ad just piffed
cannot make this up
it does not get easier then this
if you want to see the before and after DM me i’ll send
alright 2 weeks into Q4
how we doing?
(we are RIPPING, going to start sharing thoughts daily again here)
ask me anything below
to actually scale all you need is a simple operating rhythm of
- clear ownership
- consistent review
- focusing on the right metrics
a simple plan beats a complex one everytime
anyone else starting to see no VSL call funnels outperform VSL call funnels
seeing significantly better outcomes with more consumption after lead capture then having it on the front
there are only 5 metrics i actually look at when scaling ad sets & ads:
breakeven CPBC
target CPBC
target CAC
allowable CAC
minimum daily spend
and overall profit, obviously so i guess that makes it 6 metrics
everything else is vanity
for info, you'll see guys flexing ROAS on $10k spend… across their ENTIRE campaign
it makes me laugh every single time & they have no idea how small of a game they are playing
currently on my accounts we're looking for singular ads that can absorb at LEAST $25k in a 30 day period and still print
not the campaign like single creatives
that should be the bar. not the account. not the campaign. getting breakthrough ads that can sustain real spend
you gotta put your balls on the table and spend REAL bread before anyone should care what your numbers say
i’m nowhere near the top or even satisfied with my current skillset, baseline and even capacity of spend
…so i say this to try and encourage others to please stop acting like you’re a great marketer when you get 5x ROAS on a $15k/month of ad spend
stay in the trenches
did you apply time, money or talent to solve the constraint today?
if yes, well done
if no, you cannot be mad or confused if you’re not scaling
you are avoiding the real work that needs to be done
if i see another ranking, tiers format video imma throw my phone holy 😭😭😭😭😭
idk the last time i seen a format hit this many different markets
if you are doing anything other then solving the #1 constraint right now you are doing busy work
everybody’s obsessed with ROAS and cost per booked call
the actual skill gap is can your ad survive real spend
most info marketers can write an ad that converts at $50-$200/day
almost none of them can write one that survives $20k-$50k+ in spend without the algo eating it alive
ROAS is subjective
CPBC is subjective
you can hit whatever number you want on a slide
what you can’t fake is an ad staying on at high spend for 3+ weeks straight
that’s the only KPI that can’t lie to you
i had an ad spend $3.5k, return $42k
most people screenshot that and call it a win
i called it data
the second that ad hit ~$500/day the quality fell off a cliff
this was a pretty good ad, not a breakthrough
so i went back and studied why it broke
now i’m building the version of that angle that holds at $1.5k/day profitably for weeks
the goal was never “get a winner”
the goal is force your daily spend up on purpose
push it until your sales team can’t keep up and you have to go hire
that’s not a problem, that’s the business actively scaling
once we get an angle holding, we sort every ad into 4 layers
1. breakthrough - scales your whole account, this is what we’re hunting for
2. spend winner - takes budget but plateaus, can’t push it further
3. kpi winner - hits the number on low volume, doesn’t move spend, we barely care
4. loser - self explanatory
most people stop at “did it hit KPI”
we ask why it did or didn’t work
every single ad gets broken down
what hook worked, what angle died, what made spend cap out where it did
that research is the actual unlock
you can’t shortcut market understanding
you have to build it ad by ad
everything else is noise
GET OBSESSED with the ad that scales, not the ad that flexes
