Why isn't this headline news?
Per the UN, the Israeli military raided a building, grabbed civilians, dragged them outside, lined up fathers & sons, executed them, forced their families to watch, herded women & children into a room, & threw in a grenade.
These are war crimes.

#OnThisDay 60 years ago, the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom brought nearly 250,000 people to the nation’s capital to protest racial discrimination and show support for civil rights legislation pending in Congress. #MOW60

ALT A black and white photo of March on Washington participants sitting on the end of the Reflecting Pool with their feet submerged on August 28, 1963. The dark water has ripples across the surface. Behind the first row of people sitting with their feet submerged are a crowd of others, mostly sitting facing the opposite direction.

OPINION: The #montgomerybrawl was more than an isolated incident. Whether consciously or unconsciously, those White men & women tried to enforce a centuries-long racial hierarchy through violence, but Black folks said hell no.

🚨 Today is #BlackWomensEqualPayDay, a reminder that Black women continue to face a wage gap of 67 cents compared to non-Hispanic white men for full-time, year-round work.

🚨🚨🚨 Holy Shit. The GOP is trying to kill democracy in the main Democratic county because they're trying to stop Texas from flipping blue.
Gen Z is PISSED.
Republicans are trying to sneak three bills through THIS week but we MUST expose them so we can
Up first, is SB 1933, a bill that empowers a MAGA secretary of state to seize election authority from county officials. The bill passed on a party line vote, with all Republicans voting in favor and all Democrats voting against. It now heads to the Republican-controlled House.
Second is SB1070, a bill to enable Texas to pull out of the Electronic Registration Information Center which could derail and undermine our voter registration systems.
Finally, SB 1750 would force all counties with populations over 1 million to eliminate the office of Elections Administrator entirely. If SB 1750 becomes law it will oust elections administrators for Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Austin, placing the responsibilities of election administration with the County Clerk and Tax Assessor-Collector. Over 14 million Texans — half the population of the state — would live in counties with NO ELECTIONS ADMINISTRATOR.
All these election bills are being based off the premise that the 2022 election in Harris County had significant problems
•The real reason for the proposed changes is because election deniers are most concerned about losing Texas.
•They know that the voting power of Harris County could lead to the state flipping. Remember, Harris County is where one in seven Texas voters live
•The errors cited in Harris County that they say justify these actions are common across Texas counties, whether they are red, blue, or purple.
