If it weren't for white supremacy, bigotry, and racism, Trump-Republicans would have no platform to run on. In 2026, hate and pedophile protection are the Republican Party's entire identity. For all intents and purposes, the 2026 MAGA-GOP is the Nazi Party of 1938. They are identical populist hate movements hellbent on scamming an ignorant and gullible populace looking for a scapegoat for their own self-inflicted misery. The only difference is this time there is a segment of Jewish people who are helping to fuel the hate — which is the saddest, most infuriating, yet heartbreaking part of America's descent into fascism.

To mock someone for speaking openly about a medical condition that affects so many Australians is beneath contempt. Jacqui’s courage gives voice to thousands of women who might otherwise suffer in silence. Ridiculing her disrespects every one of them.

Country Matters: Hamlet (Act 3, Scene 2) Country matters is a risqué double entendre that acts as a pun for sexual relations. Listen here: bit.ly/4ykHhlS

If we’d started the EV transition earlier, say in 2019, and invested in the infrastructure and policy settings needed to drive supply and adoption, Australia would be less reliant on oil today. That would mean fewer people now paying $250 to fill up their car. So who got in the way? See below.👇 #insiders
Michaelia Cash’s brilliant plan in 2019 for Johnny was to lock him into a vehicle that costs nearly $300 a week to fill up, forever. That was the moribund, visionless LNP model: resist the future and leave Johnny paying for their 1950s nostalgia.

This is what many people who live in Australian regional areas think of the Nationals and their push for anti-net zero policies as they toe the Gina Rinehart line. James May: “I live in the Northern Rivers in NSW; our federal member is Nationals deputy leader Kevin Hogan. I’m furious that the National Party has dumped its commitment to net zero emissions by 2050. Hogan’s office is located in Lismore, and he should know better than anyone how natural disasters can devastate communities. His lack of support for us on climate change is an absolute disgrace” “The public sent a message that we wanted serious action on climate change and dumped the Coalition from office in 2022. It shrugged its shoulders and was decimated at the polls again in 2025. Sussan Ley took over and vowed her party would reflect the views of “modern Australia” and return to the “sensible centre”, but it couldn’t be further from the truth. We’re still watching the climate wars engulf the Coalition” “The National Party often claims to “represent the regions” with its policies, but it infuriates voters like me. Contrary to what Barnaby Joyce and his mates think, we want real action on climate change in the regions. We’re the ones who bear the brunt of bushfires and floods each year while they delay climate action. We told the Coalition how we felt at the ballot box, but they won’t listen. They’re too busy fighting among themselves, jostling for power in their own ranks and working out what they stand for” crikey.com.au/2025/11/13/net…

The Queensland Supreme Court overturned the Queensland government's ban on puberty blockers, but in very Trumpian style, the Queensland government told the court to get stuffed, and reintroduced it anyway. This is who the LNP are - Trump emulators.

We need to build coal fired power stations again to save Australian manufacturing jobs.

Apparently Dutton thinks Hastie played a role in the Liberals losing the last election. I’m guessing the next thing we hear will be Hastie’s wife saying “he’s not a monster”.

Peter Dutton blaming Andrew Hastie for the election loss is a denial of reality . Surely standing beside Jacinta Price at a presser as she went off on a MAGA fantasy might have had something to do with it.

I absolutely agree. @abcnews @ABCaustralia did exactly the same when the organisation enabled the spreading of misinformation, disinformation & blatant lies during the #VoiceToParliament campaign on the pretext of ‘balance’.
"You should never overestimate the extent to which the BBC changed this country by giving endless airtime to Nigel Farage, other far right extremists and the Tufton Street junktanks, while shutting out progressive voices." – George Monbiot
