Correct take. If you value an animal life the same as a human life, there's probably something wrong with you and you should get help. A likely ill, disabled or psychotic human being gets eaten alive and freaks feel bad for the tiger. Who gives a shit about the tiger.

I actually don't value the subjective experience of an organism that doesn't even know it's alive and is acting primarily on predation and territorial instinct - in the same way I do a human being with a sense of self. And is it not unhealthy to not feel basic altruism?
