Demarco lost the locker room and Stewie was basically the player Coach💀
“ Breanna Stewart took more of a leadership role of getting the team over the hump than Chris.”
“None of the players went to bat for Him”
Also feels like this is Kolb’s last chance as GM to get it right.
The Craziest part of the entire Chris Demarco firing is that the biggest winner in this entire thing is probably Raquel Carrera.
She was a multi time MVP in Europe and was brought on to be Stewie’s True backup yet she never got an extended opportunity.
Chris DeMarco never defended our players. He let them walk into postgame press conferences over and over again, taking accountability and carrying the blame while he sat back, lied, and tried to create his own narrative in the media.
And let’s not forget Betnijah. She was there from Day 1. Before Stewie and JJ, it was Sabrina and Betnijah. She helped build this era of Liberty basketball, and he pushed her out.
So no, he gets no respect from me and absolutely no sympathy. The fact that some of you are defending him is ridiculous. It’s always men being protected while women are left to take the blame and answer for everything.

Well y'all can hire him them. Let him fuck up your reset time outs
You talking about talent we need to talk GENERAL MANAGER
For the people that are pro firing head coaches all the time just know that there are less competent coaches than there are players. Not superstar players, of course. But now New York is creating this revolving door and a reputation of blaming the coach first as opposed to looking at the talent they have. If I were someone with a stable job, there's no way that I would be entertaining phone calls from this organization if the leash has the length and strength of dental floss.
Last thing, I know WNBA fans will say that this is another opportunity for a black woman to potentially land this job. For one I don't think that they are looking that way. They will probably do the same thing that they did last go round and get some NBA assistant. But two with the lack of grace that comes with this job, you wouldn't want a black woman here. The opportunity should be quality as opposed to whatever this is.
