Why is CP so important?
Last night was a perfect example of a break and retest of CP before expanding directly into R3. Textbook Camarilla setup.
In the Camarilla framework, CP is equal to the previous session’s close and sits directly between R3 and S3.
The prior close is a major reference point because it tells us whether the current session is accepting price above or below yesterday’s final value.
CP can act as fair value, a support/resistance flip, and an invalidation point. That’s why shorting above it or longing below it means trading against the primary bias and requires much stronger confirmation.
