The sadly now late but forever great PATRICK STEWART made one of the great guest appearances as the ‘debonair’ star conductor of the Seattle Opera Guild - Alistair Burke - in one of my favourite episodes of
FRASIER (2003)
RIP Sir Patrick (1940-2026)

Was halfway through the TBG episode “Who Watches the Watchers?” before Stewart passed away; resumed watching it and found myself getting emotional even at this straight-forward scene of him trying to convince someone that he is mortal by explaining evolution. Just no other equal.

Got to the bit on a Peep Show rewatch where hes jilted Sophie and they both go back to work.
can you imagine how fucking good that would be?!
Two people in your office got engaged and one jilted the other?
Be absolutely incredible. You'd be cancelling holidays to go in.

I just laid a wreath at the tomb of the even more unknown soldier. I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. It's the kind of monument only the real remembrance heads know about
Really enjoyed being happy for a few months and then thrown back into the void, with occasional crumbs of happiness to taunt me. Whatever it's character building. Probably.
