It seems like a paradox, but the more skilled you become at deceiving others, the more effective you are at communicating the truth, too. In order for a lie to work everything has to be perfect: body language, tone, right amount of detail, timing. Everything. All parts matter.

It's the assumptions you make that: 🧠 1) you're not even aware of making, and 🧠 2) you think are fact when they're fiction which will keep you struggling instead of succeeding. Magicians have understood this process since before recorded history. #psychology #mindset

Practice slow, learn fast. Don't speed past the lessons that life is trying to teach you. Perpetual distraction keeps you from growing.

There are 5 basic emotions: +Anger +Disgust +Fear +Sadness +Enjoyment If you let each surface at random, you're going to have a negative emotional experience 4x as often as the one positive. If you want to have a net positive life you have to make it happen w/4x as much effort.
