For alumna Becky Clapp ('66), a quiet corner of Lipscomb's library was more than a place to study...it was a space that shaped her Lipscomb experience and sparked a 30+ year career as law librarian.
Now, decades later, Clapp has given back to that special place with a $50,000 charitable gift annuity supporting the Beaman Library Archives, helping preserve Lipscomb's history and the stories of generations of students who came after her.

For Lipscomb alumna Lexi Price (BS ’26), landing her dream job as a community conservation educator at Nashville’s Warner Parks wasn’t just good timing...it was the result of intentional mentorship, hands-on research and discovering her true calling at Lipscomb.
After a pivotal conversation with Lipscomb’s Center for Vocational Discovery, Price traded pre-med for environmental and sustainability science, later gaining real-world experience through bird-banding research and service learning across Nashville.
Today, she leads hands-on after-school lessons and plants native pollinator gardens across 18 community centers through Warner Parks’ Nature Discovery Program, joining other Lipscomb alumni now serving Middle Tennessee through Metro Parks Nature Centers.
