Why is gold yellow? 🪙
Surprisingly, Einstein has something to do with it.
Gold has 79 protons, so its inner electrons move fast enough for relativistic effects to matter.
Relativity shifts gold’s electron energy levels, making it absorb blue light more strongly.
The remaining reflected light looks yellow.
Without these relativistic effects, gold would look much more like silver.
So the color of gold is, quite literally, a visible consequence of Einstein’s relativity. ✨

It is always funny to see posts about “dying #php”. Still there. Still works. Still alive.

This is what I call good UI, but absolutely bad UX. Look at this circular cup handle - it is looking nice.
But @illycaffe, have you tried to hold hot cup with this handle? It is almost impossible to handle it with one hand…
Awesome gift by @AnthropicAI team! Thank you!
Now it is time to work on some crazy stuff for my open-source projects! So inspired! 🚀🚀🚀
Together with native PHP8 attributes, plugin for the IDEA and #phpstan generics it works so natively! Can’t wait to finish all planned works around version of 4.x of framework.
