On NJ7, don't yet see any evidence that the Dems' 30K advance vote firewall has been seriously dented. Ahead in combined turnout by 20K in Somerset, 6K in Morris, lots in partial Union gets you at least to 30K, with only -400 in Hunterdon, -2500 in Warren and -1500 in Sussex.

We have a report from Springfield NJ (Union County) that in-person voters are being told they must vote provisionally because their name is on the Vote By Mail list. But they never registered for VBM and their name is actually not on the list - because we have a copy. Please reply with any similar issues here.

For the FY2027 budget, @GovSherrillNJ eliminated funding for local news, even though the NJ Civic Info Consortium was created by the NJ Legislature. The consortium clawed back just $1 million, which means reducing the no. of grants and amounts. Grantees in the Dec. cycle like @jerseyvindy received a grim letter yesterday. Basically, fewer news orgs. will receive grants, and the grants will be much smaller. "We recognize what these reductions can mean for you: difficult decisions about retaining staff, maintaining coverage, continuing programs, and honoring commitments to your communities. For some organizations, reduced support may threaten your ability to continue operating."

This is without a doubt the best political “ad” I have ever seen. Using Waffle House to get you to vote Democrat is brilliant. Someone on Mayor Pete’s team knows what they’re doing

Democracy is about choice. And my choice for Rahway City Council-at-Large is Alan Levy - and only Alan Levy - to break the Dem machine's 9-0 rubber-stamp! #screwtheline
