Wacky Weapon concepts for #MinaTheHollower.
Here are a bunch of unused ideas for what could have been the fifth weapon before we ultimately landed on the Guardian Casket. I still think not going with the Phonograph Glove or the Theremin Backpack was a huge missed opportunity.
I have chosen to remain bitter about this.

Another Director for a Day character. The version on the right was actually my first pass, based on a quick read of the character description in the bug base. After seeing the original sketch from the character’s creator, I took another pass, which became the version on the left and the final chosen design.

These iterations are less about figuring out the head design and more about deciding how the body should be rendered. That said, the final pixel art is so small that most of those rendering differences probably wouldn’t be noticeable.
