New carers fortnightly Caring With Confidence sessions which are set to start in Malton on Thursday the 8th of May.

The end of term quiz took place today, year 11 vs teachers vs 6th formers. A great turn out as usual, and finally the teachers won! Tune in next half term when the 6th formers will be determined to reclaim their title! Have a lovely half term!

Ms Steadman called in at Feast cafe this afternoon to thank them for their generous donation to our rewards bonanza. (She managed to enjoy a delicious shake while she was there!)

Some of our 6th formers had some creative fun with Mr. McGrath in the art room today! We wish all our families a very happy holiday season and look forward to seeing you all in 2025!

Charlie M in Year 11 has been participating in the English Junior Rally Championship over 9 rounds throughout the year. Charlie has had a successful year and at the age of just 15 he is now the 2023 English Junior Rally Champion!!

GCE A Level / BTEC Results Day - Thursday 17th August Students are able to collect their results between 08:30 am and 10:00 am from the sixth form common room

Our Y13 Prom was held at the Old Lodge on Friday 14th July. Alex Carter, Head of Sixth Form, said; " I am so proud of our students. The evening was a great way to celebrate all of the hard work that the students and staff have put in during the past two years. #Beingourbest

📷Y12 students -Model UN Conference at Ampleforth College. Students represented Israel on topics of LGBTQ+ rights, Israel-Palestine relations, nuclear disarmament, legitimacy of the death penalty & sanctions on Russia. A great opportunity learning leadership & debating skills.

Careers Fair – Years 10 & 12 This week students attended a careers fair, giving them opportunities to consider their post-16 / 18 careers choices. It was great to see our young people interacting with local employers, training providers & colleges and to discuss future careers.

Our Year 12 students have been helping out in the local community with Pickering CIC – painting the bridge railings at Ropery Bridge in Pickering. This is part of a larger project that our students are hoping to volunteer with – working together as one community! #Beingourbest!

Last week NYBEP visited our Sixth Form to talk to our Year 12 students about apprenticeships - the different levels, what they involve & qualifications that can be achieved. A student said “It was very interesting and I found out more than I realised. #Beingourbest
