After a couple convos with some smart chads i decided to reduce my coin exposure from 8% to 4% and add 1% to uni and 1% to zec n xmr
It seems robinhood wants to push crypto hard this cycle so will defo take market share from coin, i would get exposure there but i already have it via onchain
Also with how bullish i am on privacy 8% seems pretty low so topped that up to 10% and topped up uni with 2% because i believe evm will dominate this onchain cycle
Breakdown of the port in category now is:
Btc exposure (btc, mstr) - 40%
Eth eco (eth, uni) - 17%
HYPE - 12%
Privacy - 10%
CEXs (coin) - 4%
XRP - 5%
CRCL - 4%
Sol eco (pump) - 4%
Gram - 4%
Updated list is now:
privacy layer of evm which is actively being worked on by eth foundation members to make it easily accessible at 46m circ with steady revenue and usage over the last 2/3 years is insanely undervalued

"trade internet trends" with memecoins is such a flawed system because it can be so easily manipulated
we arent trading just internet trends, there is so many other factors that can ruin this
who holds the bundle? who are the early holders? are the team and early buyers in it to send the coin or farm? which kols buy this one? is there a vamp that all kols bid?
all these factors pretty much just disprove the trade internet trends tagline
for example looksmaxxing which was biggest trend of the last few years didnt have a single coin go above 10m and massive long lasting trends like "larp" are stuck at 400k even when some of the biggest catalysts for the trend are popping up
many more examples i cant think of off the top of my head
most of the time slow grinding a port up with proper risk management and keeping profits will beat max degenning and cooking hard but rting

Wojak (eth)
serial 50k topper sol devvers and drillers have something to say about changing the masses perception of crypto being a scam
such a mid curve take to say neet isnt able to break out here so its bad
what other memes have you seen range for a year and a half at 20-50m in bear
btc literally still at 80k, its not the right conditions yet for a breakout
instead of shitting on it for not breaking to 9 figs here you should be impressed that it held up this well during a bear market
it will look so obvious in hindsight

Intern has a short/mid and long term $RAIL thesis.
In the short term, the app eco continues to grow with bootstrap wallets commanding current private volume (railway, terminal, anon, railoxide, faceless, and many more), and these far exceed plebian expectations. Railgun Lindy effect is too strong now. The people who blatantly hate it cant stop it. The people who pretend to like it but hate it can't stop it. Because its decentralized so fuck all of them. The existing Railgun SDK offers integration and the Railgun ZK proofs continue to trump ZK DeFi composability without fixed pool amounts. Any amount, any stable, any token, in, out, any app. Nothing like it, period. So the Lindy grows.
In the mid term, innovative SDKs like Kohaku and Reloaded make Railgun easy to integrate into both large frontrunner wallets and small startup apps. @hisoka_io solving network and data layer privacy + ETH L1 making massive upgrades. This is where it gets fun and the ETH can't be money folks get wrecked. Users get privacy optionality in a default ETH privacy context. They get to choose between various levels of compliance/proof/set type (pp, tornado, railgun) and get to do so with friction like broadcasters (relayers) largely removed by a private mempool and other L1 upgrades. In short, Ethereum offers the most dynamic, useable, composable, feature rich, and flavor rich privacy ever conceived. It shines in being exactly what a privacy token isn't. Make no mistake, monolithic privacy is a fools errand. Conditionally non conditional privacy is a fools errand, a virtue signal with no steam. Optionality is where ETH shines. Protocol and Chain privacy become harmonious with native private transfers + tools like Railgun are used for seamless DeFi and compliance optionality. Default privacy is removing friction, not protocols. Few understand. Top of my target list for Kohaku are @ambire & @cakewallet given Kohaku is porting to Rust. Wallets like Rabby/Metamask may be false hope as they appear to give 0 fucks about data privacy but we'll see. But don't be stupid here, widen your time horizon and trust the existing flywheel.
In the long term (maybe even mid term), my bet is on the dark horses. A strong ecosystem of applications, new breakthrough wallets with strong nimble teams take more and more market share and. Wallets like @anondotinc @railoxide open source/assert dominance as UX winners and other new wallets solve problems archaic/congested teams are simply too sluggish or high horsed to solve. We already see it. As ETH L1 privacy becomes easier and easier to access, more users explore these feature rich options. Including crypto card onboarding, mobile, and ZK tech being deeply integrated into the debanked experience.
Most of you think too small. You're the fat lady sitting in McDonalds wondering why anyone would ever use a credit card when they can use cash. Intern has a 10 year+ scope, sitting pretty with staked $RAIL, harvesting tri token rewards in $DAI, $ETH, and $RAIL every two weeks. I'll be bill gates by the time you've finished your big Mac challenge and the real adoption hits so hfsp.
if/when surplus adds token utility its a 9 fig coin
For context orbio has done 23b tokens all time
Surplus does 100-150b every dayβ¦
Orbio gives a 10-20% discount
Surplus gives 90-99% discount
